You have some interesting research on your blog. At present it is not clear what question you are actually going to be answering about superheroes. Make sure you can explain why you have chosen Spiderman and what it is you want to address in relation to this character. Look also at the wider contexts of the need for heroes. Consider the issues about war, recessions, terrorism and uncertainty and why the audience needs to watch films that give them hope, because they can see the hero winning when the world seems to lack hope.
You will need to draw on audience theories such as uses and gratifications in order to explain this appeal. You may also want to explore why spiderman has remained a popular hero from the comic book to the big screen for so many years. Chris Lake wrote a similar piece a couple of years ago, so make sure you have a read of it at some point, I think Mr Brownlee has a copy of it.
